GDPR and recipient permissions

Using Elite under your country's privacy rules

The quick answer

Applicable requirements depend on your audience, location, purpose, and data processing. The product's technical controls do not establish blanket compliance with every country's rules; review the current policies and your own obligations.

Review privacy and compliance controls

  1. Read the policies

Review the Privacy Policy, DPA, Security page, and Subprocessor list for the service's current processing and contractual details.

  2. Choose an enforcement mode

Compliance controls offers Standard, Strict consent, and Disabled tracking modes. Strict consent requires an active permission record for each recipient.

  3. Record the purpose and basis

Determine the appropriate purpose, notice, and lawful basis for your use. Keep permission evidence references rather than sensitive evidence in the register.

  4. Set retention and rights handling

Use authorized event/network retention, recipient requests, suppression, and export/deletion controls as required by your policy.
