A tracked-send action needs a connected Gmail or Outlook sender and an API token with the required sending scope. Test with a controlled recipient and protect against duplicate retries.

Automate a tracked send

  1. Connect the sender

    Connect the exact Gmail or Outlook mailbox and verify any alias before enabling automated sends.

  2. Create a limited token

    In Integrations, create an API token with emails:send and any other scopes needed by your automation. Keep it in the destination's secure credential store.

  3. Configure the action

    Use the supported Zapier/Make tracked-send action with the intended sender, recipient, subject, body, and tracking behavior.

  4. Run a controlled test

    Send to a separate test mailbox, check the provider result and Elite tracking record, and design retries so they do not send duplicate emails.
