Frequently asked questions

A campaign is blocked after too many bounces

The quick answer

Stop sending and review the provider/account error, audience source, invalid addresses, authentication, and unwanted-mail risk. Clean the eligible list and request review if the block remains; do not bypass it with duplicate campaigns.

Review bounces and suppression

  1. Open recipient-level status

Find the campaign and affected recipient. Read the provider error to distinguish a temporary failure from a permanent rejection.

  2. Keep permanent failures excluded

Do not repeatedly resend to hard-bounced, unsubscribed, or suppressed contacts.

  3. Repair the audience

Remove invalid or stale addresses, review the source and consent, and verify your sender authentication and recent sending pattern.

  4. Retry only eligible work

For temporary errors, wait for the provider's indicated recovery condition and use the permitted retry path. Request support review if the account remains blocked.
