Deliverability and send readiness

Preflight sender authentication, message content, compliance, tracking domains, audience context, and recent outcomes.

Deliverability is a practical preflight. It helps you identify configuration and content risks before sending; it cannot guarantee inbox placement because mailbox providers use private, changing models and recipient-specific history.

Prepare the actual context

Choose Google Workspace/Gmail or Microsoft Outlook and enter the exact From address. The connected-mailbox indicator must be active for the sender check to pass.

Choose Marketing or Transactional, then add the actual subject, optional preheader, body, expected recipient count, tracking choice, and tracking domain. For marketing mail, include business/sender name and postal address and provide a real opt-out or preference path.

Insert representative personalization fields. A preflight on generic placeholder content is less useful than one on the message you intend to send.

Readiness categories

  • Message content: subject, body, links, clarity, and personalization.
  • Compliance: sender identity, commercial footer, and opt-out path.
  • Sender authentication: connected mailbox plus sending-domain DNS posture.
  • Tracking and links: safe destinations and the selected/default tracking hostname.
  • Audience and history: recipient count and recent delivery outcomes available to the account.

The score summarizes checks; it is not an inbox-placement percentage. A Blocked item should be fixed before launch. Review warnings with the business context instead of chasing a perfect number mechanically.

SPF, DKIM, and DMARC

Configure sending authentication with Gmail/Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or your DNS/provider administrator. A branded tracking CNAME does not replace these records. DMARC alignment depends on the visible From domain and authenticated mail path, not the logo or tracking hostname.

Branded tracking domain

Under Settings → Tracking, add a subdomain, publish the shown CNAME and verification TXT record, then Verify. Elite checks DNS, HTTPS health, and reputation before marking it active and performs continuing reputation checks. If flagged, tracked images or links may be filtered until the hostname is remediated/delisted.

Good sending practice

Send wanted mail to a well-maintained list, use accurate identity, avoid misleading subjects, keep links consistent with your brand, remove hard bounces, honor opt-outs promptly, warm new sending patterns gradually, and monitor provider errors. Tracking itself does not cause spam placement in a simple deterministic way, but excessive redirects, poor domain reputation, or unwanted volume can contribute to filtering.
