Incoming tracked-email indicators and privacy tools

The quick answer

An incoming tracking indicator describes remote content detected in received mail, where that feature is enabled. It is separate from your outbound message's open status and should be checked alongside your privacy settings.

Check another extension or mail mode

  1. Confirm a working baseline

Use a regular browser profile, a supported web inbox, and a new rich-text compose window with only Elite enabled.

  2. Test one change at a time

Re-enable the other extension or custom mail layout and reload. Trackers, mail mergers, grammar tools, encryption tools, and CRM overlays can alter the same compose DOM.

  3. Review the result

Check both the visible compose controls and a separate-mailbox test. A visible icon alone does not prove a tracker was inserted.

  4. Report the combination

Share the affected provider, versions, mail layout, and conflicting extension name with support. Use the dashboard while the integration is reviewed.
