Extension, browser, and inbox troubleshooting

Fix missing compose controls, authorization loops, browser permissions, webmail changes, and uninstall cleanly.

Compose controls are missing

  1. Confirm you are using Gmail web, Outlook on the web/Microsoft 365, or Yahoo Mail web in Chrome, Edge, or Firefox.
  2. Confirm the extension is enabled in the current browser profile.
  3. Sign in to Elite and authorize the extension.
  4. Refresh the webmail tab and open a brand-new compose.
  5. Check Settings → Inbox → Compose tools and save preferences.
  6. Temporarily test whether another extension or aggressive content blocker conflicts with the compose surface.

Managed browser policies can prevent injection or installation. Ask the administrator rather than trying to bypass policy.

Authorization repeats

Allow first-party cookies/storage for the Elite and webmail sites, verify the system clock, avoid switching accounts midway through authorization, and ensure the extension and dashboard use the same browser profile. Revoke the stale device and authorize again if necessary.

Tracking marks or sidebars are absent

Enable Tracking indicators, Contact sidebar, or All Files sidebar under Inbox settings. Refresh webmail. Attachment history and response analytics also require a connected Google/Microsoft inbox.

Push notifications fail

Enable browser push in Notification settings, allow site notifications, and check operating-system focus/notification settings. Private browsing and cleanup tools can remove subscriptions.

Uninstall

Remove the extension in the browser's extension manager, then revoke the installation under Connected devices. Disconnect inbox providers separately if desired. Uninstalling does not cancel a subscription or erase historical account data.

Browser/package mismatch

Install the package for the actual browser. Edge, Firefox, and Chrome packages can differ in store identity and permission model even when the features are similar. Update to the current published version before reporting a compatibility issue.
