The quick answer

Check the account named in the alert and the extension's active account/profile. A shared browser, another authorized installation, or permitted team scope can explain activity you do not recognize.

Configure notifications

  1. Open notification settings

Go to Settings → Notifications and choose the event you care about, such as a likely open, click, PDF view, no reply, or multiple opens.

  2. Choose the channel

Set the desktop, email, or push checkbox for that event. Each rule saves separately; different channels can remain on.

  3. Check permission for push

Enable browser push if you want it, then check the browser site's notification permission and operating-system focus settings.

  4. Verify the event first

Confirm the expected signal appears in Latest activity. A privacy fetch or scanner event does not trigger a likely-open rule.
