General troubleshooting

Can email tracking affect spam placement?

The quick answer

Inbox placement depends on recipient/provider rules, sender authentication, reputation, list quality, content, redirects, and volume. A tracking image alone is rarely a complete explanation; run preflight with the actual message.

Check deliverability

  1. Use the real sending context

Open Deliverability with the actual sender, subject, body, audience size, and tracking domain.

  2. Review authentication

Check SPF, DKIM, and DMARC with your mail/DNS provider. A branded tracking CNAME is different from sending-domain authentication.

  3. Review the list and message

Send wanted mail, remove hard bounces, honor opt-outs, use accurate identity, and avoid abrupt volume changes or misleading subjects.

  4. Fix blocked checks

Address connection, DNS, recipient, and content issues before launch. Read warnings in the context of your audience and provider's error.
