Email signatures and tracking image modes

Email signatures are designed, reusable sign-offs built to survive Gmail, Outlook, and Yahoo with table-based layout and inline styles.

Build a signature

Choose New signature, name it, and enter the fields you want to display: full name, job title, company, email, phone, website and label, address, tagline, and social profile URLs.

Choose a layout—Logo left, Logo right, Stacked, or Text only—plus Arial, Georgia, Verdana, or Tahoma, an accent color, and logo width. Upload PNG, JPEG, GIF, or WebP. The browser downsizes the logo to at most 320 pixels wide and the stored image must remain under 200 KB after processing.

Save the signature, set the one you use most as Default, or copy its generated HTML for another mail client. Deleting a signature does not remove the copy already contained in sent emails.

Hidden pixel

Hidden pixel is the default tracking-image mode. It embeds an invisible 1×1 image.

Use it when you do not want Elite to add a visible signature. Its limitation is that some gateways recognize and remove tiny hidden images, and any recipient who blocks remote images prevents the request.

My signature image

This mode inserts your default Elite signature into tracked emails and serves its logo as the tracking image. Real content images can be treated more favorably by “download pictures” flows than a hidden 1×1 pixel.

It requires at least one saved signature and a chosen default. The visible signature becomes part of each tracked email, so confirm it does not duplicate a provider-side signature already configured in Gmail, Outlook, or Yahoo.

Important behavior

• Open tracking still depends on the remote image loading.
• Signature mode uses the logo as the tracker; it does not secretly add a second pixel.
• Changing the default affects future inserts, not emails already sent.
• If the signature has no appropriate logo, use Hidden pixel or update the signature.
• No image mode can bypass recipient privacy, caching, or blocked images.
