Files and documents workspace

Files & documents brings together indexed inbox attachments, uploaded content, signature-request PDFs, and tracked shared assets according to your account and provider connections.

Find a file

Search by file name, sender, contact, or subject. Narrow results by type—PDF, images, video, or documents—and by time such as the last 7 days, 30 days, or year. Workspace views separate useful subsets such as recent files and favorites.

Connected Gmail or Outlook synchronization is required for mailbox-wide attachment indexing. Yahoo extension tracking does not create a directly synchronized Yahoo attachment library.

Preview behavior

• PDFs render page by page with previous/next controls and an open-in-new-tab action.
• Images, video, and audio use compatible browser previews.
• Text and JSON render in a readable text viewer.
• Supported Word documents expose extracted text.
• Unsupported types remain downloadable for a compatible local application.

A preview is a convenience, not a conversion guarantee. Complex Word layouts, encrypted PDFs, macros, archives, and proprietary files may not render accurately or at all.

Favorites and details

Favorite an item to keep it in the favorites view. Open the detail panel for metadata, related message/contact context, and available content actions. Removing a favorite does not delete the file.

Tracked assets and issued links

Content assets uploaded for outreach can be inserted as expiring, revocable links. The asset library reports view/range activity and issued-link sessions. Revoking a link blocks future access; it does not remove a copy already downloaded.

Use the dedicated Document analytics page for page-, slide-, sheet-, and row-level viewer reporting. Use the Signature requests page for completed or in-progress PDF signing documents.
