The Outlook add-in and Gmail add-on exist as additional integration surfaces, but availability can depend on release channel or administrator installation. The browser extension remains the broadest supported compose experience.

What the extension supplies

Depending on provider and enabled inbox preferences, the extension can show compose tools for tracking, templates, polls, files, scheduling, and document actions; contact and file sidebars; sent-mail tracking marks; and reply-reminder controls.

Provider interfaces change. If a webmail redesign prevents injection, use the dashboard for historical data and follow troubleshooting steps rather than assuming a message was tracked.

Features that need Gmail or Outlook connection

Mailbox volume, received-email analytics, response timing, provider-confirmed send status, inbox synchronization, attachment indexing, Google Sheets import, and campaign sending depend on the relevant provider authorization. Yahoo extension tracking does not provide an equivalent synchronized mailbox connection.

Smartphone status

Native iOS and Android work is planned/in development, not a complete production-equivalent experience. Do not assume the following are currently available in native mobile mail apps:

  • automatic tracking for every mobile compose;
  • desktop-style tracking marks in mobile Sent folders;
  • the full dashboard and content builders;
  • complete push/history parity with the browser experience.

You can use the responsive web dashboard from a phone for review and account tasks. A Gmail add-on may provide a limited compose surface where installed, but it is not a substitute for every desktop extension feature. This page will be updated as native releases ship.

Managed environments

Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 administrators can restrict extensions, OAuth scopes, add-ins, external images, redirects, or third-party applications. If authorization is blocked, ask the administrator to review the requested application, domains, and least-privilege permissions. Enterprise deployment policies are separate from a consumer browser install.
